Door-to-Door Aerial Transportation Flying Car – Aeromobil

Now a flying car lets you forget long traffic jams and fly in the sky. Flying Car which is designed to fly in the sky and drive on the road and fits to a standard space that a normal car covers on road and parking by folding wings in the side of flying car. Chief designer Štefan Klein designed a perfect Aeromobil to keep in mind the road drive and door-to-door aerial transportation.

Štefan Klein was working on the concept for about 20 years and successfully tested the flight of Aeromobil 2.5 at Slovak Republic. Aeromobil 2.5 is a prototype and version 3 is stylish and comfortable as mentioned on the Aeromobil website.

If you look at the design and looks, it looks fantastic and has two seats, one for driver come pilot and another for passenger. It’s a combination of aeroplane and motorcar packed with 1,211cc four cyllinder 100 horsepower Rotax 920 engine with top speed of 200km/h in plane mode and 160 km/h in automobil mode.

A beautifully designed steel framework and carbon coated body weights about 450 kg without driver and empty fuel tank. It has two wings which folds on sides of Aeromobil and a propeller at the back. It’s a four wheels flying car which take you to the sky with a 100 horsepower engine with a range of 700 km in aeroplane mode and 500 km in automobil mode.

As it serves two purposes and has two steering wheels mounted one inside another in front of the driver/pilot seat, large steering wheel is for driving on the road while other small one helps in flying the car.

A 3D visualized Aeromobil version 3.0 is shown at the Aeromobil website which is more stylish, comfortable and combines performance of a sports car with quality of ultralight and retouched version of Aeromobil 2.5.
