From seaside to island, and now hotels are going underwater and there are number of underwater hotels some of which are completely open and serving while some are still in projects and some underwater hotels are under construction, but the trend is fully developed and there will be a lots of underwater hotels open within next few years.
What actually underwater hotels are?, well they are specially designed and constructed hotels in sea or at island to experience the underwater living surrounded by sea creatures and offer other amazing and exciting features like restaurant, suites, spa, diving, submarine, water sports and more.

Water Discus Underwater Hotel, Dubai
As we said this underwater hotel design look more futuristic among others and will be a underwater hotel with half underwater and half above the water. Water Discus hotel includes two discs, one above the water and one underwater. Water Discus offer more comfort, Marine adventure and water sports as proposed by Deep Ocean Technology.
Poseidon Undersea Resort, Fiji
Another under construction undersea resorts developed by L. Bruce Jones, president of U.S. Submarines Inc. It will be located at 225-acre (0.91 km2) South Pacific Island in northeastern Fiji and features 22 guest rooms, underwater restaurant, bar, library, conference room, wedding chapel, spa and luxury suite with a reservation of $15,000 per person per week.

Hydropolis Underwater Resort Hotel, Dubai
Hydropolis is an under construction ultra modern under 66 feet underwater hotel near Jumeirah Beach in Dubai. It will have 220 suites and one of the world’s biggest modern projects but still waiting for completion.
InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland, China
This 18-story InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland resort opened on November 20, 2018 . It is one of its kind hotels 100 m deep in a quarry in China. It is a luxury hotel in the base of Tianmenshan Mountain features underwater rooms. It has 18 storeys and 337 rooms, and out of 18 storeys 2 are underwater. Room prices are expected to be priced at US$500 per night.
Conrad Hilton, Maldives
Conrad Maldives Resort holds everything luxury on two islands. A luxury experience of 11 restaurants and bars, spa and fitness, watersports, diving and a submarine already made and voted this resort as the best resort in Maldives.
Utter Inn, Sweden
This one room floating Utter Inn hotel was created by Mikael Genberg in 2000. The underwater room is attached to the hut floating in vasteras Swedish lake which provides the around looks with four glass windows on four walls of underwater room and offers an underwater sleep with fishes.
