On July 10, the South Korean company will hold its second Galaxy Unpacked event of 2024 (just six months after having held the first) to present to the world a new generation of some of its most popular device families, of which we have been able to compile details over the last few weeks.
At this point, with about a week to go before the event starts, we wanted to review everything we already know about the new products that Samsung plans to announce in this second Galaxy Unpacked of the year 2024.
New Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6
Without a doubt, the great protagonists of the event. Samsung will present its new foldable phones at the Paris event, taking advantage of the fact that it has been almost a year since the arrival of the previous generation.
The new Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Z Fold6 will arrive on the market at a key moment, when some manufacturers have already presented their bets of this type for this year (the last to do so was Motorola with its razr 50) while others, such as Apple, are still working on their first proposal.
From this new generation we expect a renewed design in both models, battery improvements, higher quality screens with anti-glare glass similar to the one we already saw in the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and an extra power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Both models would be more expensive than their predecessors, although as usual, Samsung would plan to launch different promotional campaigns that will allow them to be obtained at a more affordable price.
Likewise, the devices would have a new version of One UI loaded with new artificial intelligence features thanks to Galaxy AI.
Samsung Galaxy Ring
The wait has been long, but the Samsung Galaxy Ring is finally about to see the light of day, this time for real.
After a first announcement at the beginning of the year, Samsung will finally reveal the details that are still to be known about its first smart ring, including its price and all the features.
This new generation activity and health parameter meter would arrive in several sizes, and its price could be around $300.
Samsung Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch7 Ultra
Samsung will also announce a new smartwatch family made up of two models: the Galaxy Watch7, which will continue the line of the previous Galaxy Watch5 and Watch6; and the Galaxy Watch7 Ultra, straight to compete with the Apple Watch Ultra.
Undoubtedly, the Galaxy Watch7 Ultra will be the model that will attract all eyes for its new design, which will combine a square case with a circular screen. In addition, it will have more advanced health and activity monitoring features, a rotating crown, and a more adjusted price than that of the Apple Watch Ultra.
In the same way as the Galaxy Z series models, the new Galaxy Watch will also receive the artificial intelligence functions of Galaxy AI.
Samsung Galaxy Buds3 and Galaxy Buds3 Pro
As expected, Samsung is also planning to revamp its series of fully wireless earbuds developed in collaboration with AKG.
This new generation would introduce a completely different aesthetic from previous installments, by incorporating a design more similar to that of Apple’s AirPods, which abandons the compact format to make way for a body with a cane.
The leaked information makes it clear that Samsung will launch two models: Galaxy Buds3 and Galaxy Buds3 Pro. Both will have water resistance, compatibility with the SmartThings Find network, audio improvements and greater autonomy. The “Pro” version will feature higher sound quality and a more effective active noise cancellation system.
This is, barring a last-minute surprise, all we will see at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2024 on July 10. From Andro4all we will attend the event to tell you first-hand all the news from the moment they are presented.
