Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked has brought great news. The brand has presented its new generation of foldable smartphones in Paris: the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6. They arrived accompanied by other highly anticipated products such as the Galaxy Watch7 and Watch7 Ultra; the Galaxy Buds3 and Buds3 Pro and the Galaxy Ring, the brand’s first smart ring, which for the moment will not be available in Spain.
Samsung and Kpop, an increasingly frequent collaboration
But Samsung wanted more and prepared a very special surprise, especially for fans of the world-famous Kpop, with which the brand has already been related for some time. Surely you are familiar with their multiple collaborations with BTS, the South Korean group that has achieved greater international fame in recent years. This 2024, the band is doing military service in their country, and Samsung has taken the opportunity to make good friends with another group: Tomorrow X Together.
Often referred to as BTS’s little “brothers” for being from the same company (Big Hit Entertainment or HYBE), TXT is a South Korean group consisting of Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai. The band has been active since 2019 and has also become a true mass phenomenon that sells out tickets wherever it goes. Now, they have another proof of their global success: a collaboration with Samsung materialized in the form of a new song to promote the brand’s new generation of foldable phones, specifically the Galaxy Z Flip6.
At the presentation event itself, the South Korean company has shared a promotional video (which you can see above this paragraph) where the group is shown working on their new song with the help of the brand’s new smartphones. Little is known about it, except that the title is ‘Open Always Wins’ and that it will be directly related to Samsung’s foldables. Regarding the release date, neither Samsung nor TXT have specified anything about it, at least for the moment. What we do know is that it will be a guaranteed success.
