CMF’s first smartphone is on the way, the announcement has been made through posts on its social networks. This mobile will be intended for the mid-range, being a sector where competing is complicated and standing out seems impossible. Nothing has faith in its sub-brand which, so far, has only released headphones, watches and accessories such as a 65W charger.
Both the CMF Watch Pro smartwatch and the CMF Buds headphones have passed through our analysis table, leaving a good taste in the mouth. Now, with a mobile about to be launched on the market, attention is focused on what its design will be like and the features it will introduce. Although we do not have specific details, what we do know is its name: CMF Phone 1.
CMF Phone 1, CMF by Nothing’s first smartphone is ready
The image that has been published on X, formerly Twitter, shows the texture of the rear area of the device. This is an orange color with a lively, strident and striking tone. Of course, it is not unpleasant to look at and, in fact, generates curiosity.
But neither the color nor the texture that seems to be vegan leather is the most interesting thing about the image. The CMF Phone 1 looks like it will feature a dial or, at least, that’s what you can see in the image. This element would be located in a corner of the device, integrated in such a way that only part of it will be in relief.
Nothing is known for its risky designs, the CMF Phone 1 will follow this line of thinking. Of course, the move makes it clear that the company reserves transparencies for its devices and that its sub-brand will have more youthful tints due to the colors used.
Although design is a key element of mobile devices, the CMF Phone 1 must have some interesting features in order to make a place for itself within such a competitive range. Leaks say that the price range will be between 100 and 200 euros.
CMF by Nothing has a device in its hands that, before its launch, is generating enormous expectation. The company knows how to capture users’ attention and get their devices talked about. Now we just have to wait for its release to see if it performs as well as it looks.
