You can utilize your PC’s BIOS menu to carry out several valuable tasks, including running hardware tests and accessing essential system information. Typically, to access the BIOS menu, you need to restart your device and press a specific key during startup, which varies depending on your computer model. A more convenient method to access the BIOS menu is by creating a desktop shortcut.
To create this shortcut:
Begin by right-clicking anywhere on your desktop, then select “New” and choose “Shortcut.”
In the “Type the location of the item” field, enter “shutdown /r /o /f /t 00” (as indicated by “1” in screenshot).
Then click “Next.” Next, in the “Type a name for this shortcut” box, type “Restart to BIOS.”
Finally, click “Finish.” You can now double-click the shortcut (shown as “2”) to reboot your PC directly into the BIOS menu.
