The jewel in the crown among the acquisitions that Microsoft has been undertaking in recent years, the multi-million dollar Call of Duty franchise, has just received the trailer for its next installment.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be set during the Gulf War, as revealed in a live-action video that teases the game’s official unveiling. It will be on June 9 when all the details of both the solo campaign and the multiplayer options will be revealed, as part of the Xbox Games Showcase broadcast.

The Redmond outfit has also confirmed that Black Ops 6 will be playable from the same day of its launch on Xbox Game Pass, its repository of games for consoles, PC and the cloud, which will mean a considerable boost in the number of subscribers. In any case, it remains to be seen if the new one implies changes in the monthly fees of the service, as has been rumored for some months.
Other games that could have a presence at the Xbox Games Showcase would be ‘Gears 6’ and a remaster of the original installments; ‘Avowed’, ‘Indiana Jones And The Great Circle’, ‘Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024’, ‘STALKER 2’; the new content for ‘Diablo IV’, ‘Starfield’ and ‘The Elder Scrolls Online’; the return of ‘Perfect Dark’, ‘Quake 6’, ‘Everwild’, ‘Contraband’, ‘Fable’, ‘Blade’, ‘Clockwork Revolution’, ‘State of Decay 3’, ‘South of Midnight’ and even a new installment of ‘DOOM’ (supposedly nicknamed ‘The Dark Ages’ and set in the Middle Ages).
