AI Integration: Intelligent Surveillance, Visual Analytics, and Semantic Search

QNAP has enhanced video surveillance management with QVR Pro Client, which now allows you to manage facial recognition (QVR Face) and people counting (QVR Human) applications from a single portal. This portal is flexible and allows surveillance needs to be viewed on multiple monitors, including 16:9 and ultra-wide 32:9 displays. In addition, QuMagie automatically sorts photo albums by people, things, and places using AI-based image recognition.

Another innovation is Qsirch’s AI-powered semantic image search technology, which allows you to find images more intuitively and accurately, saving time by not relying on exact keyword matches.

In today’s enterprise environments, ensuring high availability is crucial. QNAP introduces high availability (HA) solutions that enhance various aspects of IT infrastructure. These solutions include:

  • Switch redundancy with MC-LAG, enabling non-disruptive failover in the event of hardware or network failures.
  • High availability of virtual machines (VMs), minimizing workload downtime.
  • Surveillance failover, ensuring uninterrupted monitoring and recording.
  • High-availability storage pool with QNAP NAS, ensuring continuity of service.

QNAP’s QuCPE network virtualization equipment also supports system-level high availability, optimizing service uptime.

Managing remote devices at scale is a challenge for IT teams. AMIZcloud, QNAP’s cloud management platform, offers advanced capabilities for centralized self-service device management from a single interface. In addition to managing QNAP NAS drives, such as the QNAP TVS-h674T model that our colleagues at Urban Tecno were able to put to the test, AMIZcloud now supports remote management of QNAP network switches, improving the efficiency of resource and service management.

“myQNAPcloud One” provides a secure and reliable cloud infrastructure designed to bolster the hybrid backup plans of QNAP NAS users. This solution includes myQNAPcloud StoragemyQNAPcloud Surveillance, and myQNAPcloud Object, providing comprehensive data protection and ensuring constant data availability.

25GbE and Thunderbolt 4 NAS solutions for video editing and collaboration

QNAP’s 25GbE solutions and Thunderbolt 4 NAS are designed to revolutionize video editing and collaboration workflows. Featured products include the Thunderbolt 4 TBS-h574TX all-flash NASbook and the 25GbE-optimized TS-h1277AFX NAS. In addition, new USB 4 to 10GbE adapters and USB 4 JBOD drives are introduced, expanding connectivity options for professionals.

Air gap backups and centralized management of cross-site NAS backup

To increase backup security, QNAP introduces Airgap+, an “air gap” backup solution that uses QHora-321/QHora-322 products along with QNAP NAS Hybrid Backup Sync tasks. This configuration provides superior protection against cyberattacks by generating offline backups.

In addition, Hybrid Backup Center is a centralized platform that makes it easy to manage multiple cross-site NAS backup tasks, improving efficiency with a simple topology widget.

QNAP continues to innovate in the field of data storage and management, offering solutions that combine security, efficiency, and high availability to meet the demands of modern enterprises.
