Kerényi Zoltán is an architect and photographer from the city of Budapest, Hungary. In a series entitled Ablak a Múltra (Window to the Past), Zoltán mixes photos of old Budapest with new ones of the exact place, with the same angle as the old photo in order to give us this “window to the past”.
Zoltán explains: “We all experience that occasion where we want to look at the past, and for a second touch something that has touched their heart and moves their soul, or gives them a new perspective of what has changed around us. ‘ Window to the Past’ captures moments from the past that converge with the present, creating something new that gives a powerful visual effect. Letting us remember with open eyes and hearts.”
