Amazing Corn Mazes

How to attract tourists to the world of agriculture? The answer doesn’t seem easy, and in fact it isn’t. But some farmers around the world have had the wonderful idea of mixing England’s famous circles of wheat fields and gigantic labyrinths. The result is these wonderful corn mazes.

But what is a corn maze?

It’s an interactive outdoor game. It’s a family challenge. It’s a team-building opportunity. And above all, it’s a lot of fun.

In the advertisement of one of these mazes the public is invited to enjoy a unique experience trying to find their way through a 15-acre corn maze with more than 4 kilometers of twists, turns and dead ends. There’s even a special prize for those persistent enough to find all the secret spots in the labyrinth.

There are different themes and sizes, some even offer mechanical attractions, farm area, hot air balloons, live music and shopping areas, but all converge in offering an excellent family day trying to solve these gigantic labyrinths. Typically, all facilities open their doors between September and December each year. That’s why many are decorated with Halloween themes. In Mexico we are fortunate to have the largest in Latin America, Maizlandia is located in the municipality of Zapopan in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
