These remarkable examples of sand sculptures were exhibited at an annual festival in Blankenberge, a beach resort located along the North Sea, which stretches between Zeebrugge and Le Coq, in Belgium.

The festival takes place from June 1 to September 2, 2012, every day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. It is the largest festival of sand sculptures, with an area of 4,000 m2 and more than 10,000 tons of raw material.
